Antique art gear, the Nintendo DS

Here's an animated GIF I did last night on a Nintendo DSi with FlipNote Studio (free app), no idea where I was heading when I started, just explored some anime fantasies. To be continued...




Tonight I tried to figure out how a quadruped creature walks. It's funny how this seems like one of those common things, I can close my eyes and easily imagine a horse walking, running, noodling or whatever but animating a simple walk cycle is a whole different thing.


Also I found out about a japanese website called flipbook.in and did a few animations there. The funniest part is that you can reply to someone else's animation and edit it into a new version. I feel there is a great fun potential about this feature.
