Endless headspin

So many discoveries lately. I just found out that PS is now animation friendly so I tried my hand at it and ended up with these 2 boogers. It's been way too long since I tried to do an animated GIF. The pacing is messed up and the volumes on the head are jaggy but I'm still happy with the result and spending hours figuring out how to do these with the animation features in PS didn't feel too bad. They'll bounce and spin forever now.

How could I have missed this pen pressure setting thing?
I just found out that you can actually set the tablet's pen sensitivity to get more elastic lines in the Wacom settings menu. So dumb. Well, I finally enjoy drawing/inking in PS.

Here's what happens when I pick up a women's fashion magazine for reference, it ends up nothing like it, and nudists pop up no matter what I was aiming for at first...

Brushpen sketches on a Moleskine sketchbook, underlying sketches with a 0.7mm pentel blue lead mechanical pen.

I'm currently using a Pentel brushpen "FP5F" which has a very pleasant feel and steady controllable ink flow, recommended if your looking for a cool brushpen that won't go into blotch mode while you're desperately trying to draw thin lines. It still takes practice to get used to it though ;)

And the yellowish paper of the Moleskine sketchbook has a very soft anf thick feel which makes brush inking on it like skating on ice.

While I was still trying to draw the usual stuff I feel safe doing, I tried to get in gear working on paper again and have some fun as well. Hopefully I'll get more ambitious when the last pages are filled and I start on the new sketchbook I got which is twice as big.

So here's a Chun Li because she's an old time favorite SF character of mine, and the girls on the bike were very very remotely inspired by the anime OVAs series Gall Force.
