Painting dragons and sketching streetfighters

I'm really happy of that hairy bulbhead design there, I was trying to get the scariest possible looking dragon for the Sketch Dailies theme and when this idea popped in my head I had such a laugh out of it. I think the creature itself ended up creepy enough, looking like a crossbreed of a dragon and various seafoods but I should have spent more time checking the anatomy because those legs and claws are so messed up.

Here's the rest of this month's sketch dump, most of it anyway. I've been very productive this month it seems, discovering so many extremely talented artists through Twitter being the main cause of this sudden creative streak and craving to learn more accomplished painting techniques.

Streetfighter the World Warrior

Some sketches of Streetfighter characters drawn for fun. I used to play SSF4 on the Xbox live a LOT back in the day. My favorite character was Chun Li, since SF2. Her aerial moves, ground/air combos and mixups and the fact that not many players played the character made her my alltime favorite. I even upgraded my arcade fightstick with Sanwa components... ah those were the days.

Just a bunch of vehicles I had to get off my mind. I used a few reference pics as a challenge to get a likeness, for the Carrera, the blue Mazeratti on top half. Most of the rest is freehand nonsense.
